About Denise Morgan

Denise Morgan Born in London, England, Denise Morgan lived in 3 countries by the time she was 12 years old. Unfortunately, after being abandoned by her parents at 8 mos along with her older sister, she lived in a home for children, then was relocated to Jamaica at 4 and 5 years old respectively. At 12 & 13 years of age, they immigrated to Canada in custody of their father.

However, after emerging from an abusive upbringing on every level, her inner child was determined to find contrast to the painful realities of her childhood and later found love and beauty in the world around her.

Discovering art galleries was her salvation: a place of solace and refuge...viewing the likes of Monet, Picasso and Gustav Klimt, just to name a few of her influences. Seeing sublime beauty in landscapes; intuitively playing with bold colors through abstracts and raw human emotions/expressions in portraits, she found a way to heal and escape her raging inner demons. Presently, her medium of choice is acrylic on canvas and sometimes dabble with watercolors and oil.

Denise is also the author of a suspense fiction: Vengeance of a Jilted Dressmaker; 2 haiku books: Modern Day Japanese Haiku and Wildly Random Haiku and a book of short poems: The Crux Of Being, which is shelved in her local library. With this entrepreneurial spirit, Denise is forever embarking on new business ventures in her hometown, London England.
